Just to back up a little but Alyssa received a bike from Santa and so we have been going out and riding it whenever possible. She loves to ride it. Our neighborhood is a little hard just because there are so many hills she has a hard time getting started. I have been taking her to the school by our house that we go to a lot and she has been getting the hang of it.
In no time she will be taking on these hills like all the other kids do!
To back even further up. Sometime around Cory's birthday we received a membership to the Pacific Science Museum in Seattle. The perks are great and we get to go to twelve IMAX movies a year! We have no idea who purchased this for us and we are very appreciative of such a generous gift. I called to find out but whoever it was paid in cash, came into the office, and wanted to remain anonymous.
On one of Cory's days off we decided to head down there and check it out. We were there for a few hours and the kids had fun running around and checking out the exhibits. Although Alyssa didn't like all the loud sounds. For whatever reason she is going through this phase where anything that is loud, according to her, bugs her.
Anyhow, we got to see the Dinosaur exhibit and it was pretty cool. After checking out all the insects we made our way to the toddler area where the kids had a blast and we probably could have left them there all day, especially in the car. There was a area where the light was creating shapes and stuff on the floor and this became their dance area. It was pretty cute.
We have finally got back into our normal routine, with dance, school, and all our other activities. These next few months are going to be pretty busy with birthdays, we have five to go to in the next two months. We are excited for everyone of them too! We have been busy planning and thinking of stuff we want to do for vacations etc. for the rest of the year. I can't wait it looks like it's going to be a great year!
